Painting has long held a fascination for me...my love of painting led me to hang up my hard hat & steel toed boots and embrace art as a full time profession -- a far cry from designing nuclear power stations, highways & bridges and managing construction crews!
I have taught both watercolours and oils at The City Arts Centre and, by invitation, at both the University of Alberta (Extension Dept-ELLA), and MacEwan University (Minerva) for several years in Edmonton, Alberta, as well as privately.
I have recently relocated to BC's lower mainland area.
All works are originals, archival.
Impressionistic alla prima oil landscapes, wet-in-wet watercolour florals, Urban Sketching & sketching 'memorable' politicians are my passions!
My paintings have sold through Edmonton galleries since the early 1990's.
My prize winning watercolours can be found in private and corporate collections across North America and the UK.
Technique is all about mastery over the medium.
Painting is all about combining spontaneity, inspiration & technique with passion.
